Black Is is the title track from a cassette release of mine. It was written in and from an angry and defiant place. Looking back, I’m glad I had that sense of defiance. It helped get me though that period. Black Is deals with themes of loss, and what loss can do in terms of creating themes in our lives. Sometimes we make things bigger than they need to be!
